leaves from strawberry tops?
leaves from strawberry tops?
Found a wonderful little market on a back road with amazingly good fruit (local supermarket is just appalling). Got a tub of the most delicious strawberries. Aren't going to be any left to share with the birds, but there are the little leafy tops from them. Are these good greens to offer to the birds? Will they eat them?

I would hesitate to feed them only because strawberries are usually sprayed with chemicals.

My rule, when in doubt don't....I do know that the leaves and stem of tomato plants can be toxic to them.
