I need a good small batch eggfood recipe . i tried to make some homemade eggfood but the finch didnt go for it. it was simple just a half box of cakemix and 4 eggs then i baked it .i dont know what i did wrong maybe honey should be added.

I would think there is too much sugar in a cake mix. I believe people use corn bread mix, there should be a thread with recipes, maybe do a search to find it.

I agree with Debbie. There are many previous posts with great ideas. You can also use the search button on the top right to find them.
I use cede eggfood which is already made so I cannot help you with any recipes.

There are multiple recipes posted by members in the link debbie276 gave. Cake mix is too sweet, Jiffy cornbread mix is a good base for eggbread. You can find a good recipe here: www.efinch.com, and also here: www.finchaviary.com.
