I went on a walk tonight and the farm next to my house just farmed radishes. I grabbed a bunch of the left overs and was wondering if the finch would benefit from eating the radish or radish greens? I have washed everything very well to rid of any pesticides? just waiting for the green light from you all>

I'd look that up on the internet to be sure, I was just reading about safe plants for finches because I have a bamboo plant to put inside their cage, I wanted to get a spider plant today but we had 2 snow storms so I could not get to the greenhouse. Next time I go to the grocery store I'm going to get an assortment of fresh greens for them and some carrots. Mine love romaine lettuce which is what they got thismorning plus a boiled egg. Getting back to your radish plant, even though you washed it well there are likely traces of pesticide so grow plants for them or check with a greenhouse. Hope this helps.

Learning Finch if you do offer them I would do so in moderation. I will attach a link below about safe, toxic and unsafe foods on the Finch Information Center site.. it lists radishes on there.
