Hi again, FYI about the fatter millet sprays. I got the same brand for my zebra finches, and this is the one I bought. It's called CA Golden Spray Millets, they are about 1inch across and long ones too. You can buy from Amazon.com, since they have free shipping for $25or more, this 5lbs cost about $21.70 as of today's price, 56% off it says on the website. And another one maybe not what you want because it's $77 someone and it's 25.5lbs!

that's too much millets and heavy too.
Just want to give your more detail/info here about the website where I bought and the shipping info:
If you order this $21.70 only maybe a shipping fee apply, I suggest you buy some more to make it $35 or above, (Since sold by other website linked from amazon for this product and fullfill by Amazon that's why need $35 for this millet sprays) Or you can sign up for 30days prime ship to get free 2 days shipping, you can cancel it anytime during the first 30days so no charge for $79 membership fee
I ALWAYS use this brand for my finches, they loved it and trust me, even you have only 5birds, but this 5lbs of millet will last a long time for your finches. They get crazy eating them and easily can finish one spray a day, and the price for 5lbs better than petsmart or petco etc, since they only got about 6, 12 millet sprays in most of the bags, and weigh only 4-8oz. This bag was 5lbs and I never count how many millet sprays inside but it's a lot, plus the SIZE is bigger than the local ones and it's consider fatter just what you needs. Also it doesn't take a lot of spaces or storage in your home, because it came with a rectangular shape box, each time you can feed your birds you can put it back to the same place. Or you can keep it fresh by place a heavy item on top of the box so no air go inside, I would put it in separate plastic bags (because sandwich bags won't fit unless you cut it, since it's long side too) tight it up so keep them fresh, also won't waste it if you place them carefully in the bags, the millet sprays come straight from box and no zip lock bags or anything inside, make sure you close it nicely or use bags to store it in a safe place where nobody often touch or shake the bag/box, since the millet will fell off over time if you shake it too often. Anyway hope this info help, I think the price and free shopping worth for the millet sprays, even it's 5lbs. Plus your birds will like it so much too, we all want our birds happy , and the money is worthy too for just $22 less, compare to local pet stores like the petsmart which only 4oz - 6oz each bags and cost about from $3.49-$7.49 . The one I recommended to you 5lbs is about 80oz, that's more than 16 times in average for the amounts you get in local pet store, also cost more too in local stores. I did the calculation for you, which about $70 for 80oz for the price of $3.49/ ea bag, and $100 for the $7.49/ea bag also 80oz total. So spent " $22 "is definitely a good idea and save money too than $70 or $100 for same weigh. You don't have to worry about buy it again next "many months " for your 5 birds, it usually can stay fresh within 2-3yeare, I am just guessing here since approximately from the millets I bought before in average. You can cut the millet in half before feed to your birds, so not too long and waste it, I usually attach on the caged bars or on floor for them to eat, but make sure not under the perches or near water dishes area if you put it on floor. Hope these info helps .
