with the new birds on there way soonjust prepairing myself ,
what seed should i use for breeding and will this seed be good if there not breeding yet,
whats the best seed,for stars,painteds,gouldians,societys and if
societys are fostering will they need mealworms for the young e.g stars goulds,painteds

As far as mealworms, I have fostered Stars and Gouldians without them. I prefer not to deal with mealworms if I don't have to. However, my Societies are now fostering BCCB and Strawberry babies, which need the extra protein they get from insects, so the Societies have a dish of mealworms at all times, and they are thoroughly enjoying them. In my post about BCCB & Strawberry fledglings, you can see crops chock full of seeds, but I'm sure they are getting plenty of worms, too.
