Rox, mine are spoilt, they pick and choose, yesterday I gave them Chicweed, they love it.

Spoilt birds. Do you offer it whole like that or chop it up steve?

Mine are totally spoilt and only eat a similar variety if I chop it up.

monotwine, That is basically it, I chop the Broc smaller sometimes but they don't really mind.

Lovely! My guys will be right over :-D And seeing as they haven't had their breakfast yet, that would be gone by lunch time. LOL. Yes, they all love chickweed, when it's available in the Summer.

I was thinking of planting Chickweed, I grow carrots just for the greens and I give it to them very young, basically the carrot is only about 5cm long, they love to peck on the soil and if any of it dries out they use it for nesting material.
