Made Roudybush Bird Bread today using the ingredients to some of the soft foods I serve..... 10 eggs (beaten, no shell), cup of soaked Roudybrush pellets, a cup of Roudybush soak and feed Saraha Sunrise, cup of dried eggfood, a 1/2 cup dried parsley, a cup of kale & carrots finely chopped. Mix well and pour into a greased pan, bake at 400 degrees until set and a wooden toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Let cool and serve. My test subject, Pixie the GC Conure, likes it!!!

(you can add crushed or ground eggshells to it)

Cindy do your Bourkes and finches like it ? When you say Dried Egg Food is Miracle Meal or Quicko work? What size pellets?

I would like to try this..

Mine do not like Quiko for some reason...I order in big 25 lb bags of Higgins ProTeen 25 Snack Attack eggfood...I imagine any dried eggfood would do.

The scarlet chested parakeets are picking the bread apart.

I use Nibbles for the finches and Crumbles for my conure...either size you can easily soak and mix in.

Finches in the bird room had a soft food mix and they will get some of the bird bread tomorrow. The java that are housed in the main room are picking it apart also. Bourkes are busy playing in their boxes so I will check on them later to see if any has been eaten

Anytime!!!!

I am going to try a smaller batch with banana and apples and the Roudybush Soak and feed Orchard for our conure. She loves bananas.
