Holiday Treats

Post by finchick » Wed Dec 24, 2014 5:11 pm

For those of you who are celebrating one of the many holidays this winter season, do you prepare any special treats for your birds? For example, do you have a Christmas or Hannukah special treat that you'll serve them in the morning? I'm thinking about a treat that could scream red and green for them to enjoy. Cranberries and romaine lettuce? Cherries and kale?

I plan on giving them extra goods and millet for Christmas if that counts. ;)

They'll get their regular egg food with broccoli, already prepared it tonight, along with spray millet. Tuffy the horse will get some ground-up carrots (he is old and losing his teeth). Dog and cats will get a treat when I get home tomorrow night.
