Made Roudybush Bird Bread today using the ingredients to some of the soft foods I serve..... 10 eggs (beaten, no shell), cup of soaked Roudybrush pellets, a cup of Roudybush soak and feed Saraha Sunrise, cup of dried eggfood, a 1/2 cup dried parsley, a cup of kale & carrots finely chopped. Mix well and pour into a greased pan, bake at 400 degrees until set and a wooden toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Let cool and serve. My test subject, Pixie the GC Conure, likes it!!!
You can also substitute herbs for the veggies!!!

Re: Roudybush Bird Bread with Veggies
I order in over 200lbs of Roudybush every 6 weeks, some of which is for friends... gotta get creative sometimes.
my hookbills love this, grasskeets down it.... javas pull it apart and enjoy it....you can crumble this for finches if they have trouble eating it

Re: Roudybush Bird Bread with Veggies
cindy Did your Zebra's like it? I made mine a corn muffin mix once and added egg shells and broccoli cut up real small. I think i saw the idea on some bird website, oh no maybe it was a book. Anyway, they didn't really take to it, I put it in like you said crumbled....and they just by passed it. Maybe I will try this though, if you say the zeb's like it. But my birds don't like carrots. I might try again though, I think the first few times I gave them carrots they were overwhelmed (i bought them from a pet store, and not sure that they got anything but seed) so when i got them and started giving them fresh food, they DEVOURED it, lettuce, broccoli, cukes, kale, spinach, but like a dummy i would give them ALL these things at once!!! Der, me! Idiot.. Anyhow, maybe i will try carrots again to see if they will eat them, if they don't do you think I could put broccoli in it instead? BTW thanks for the recipe, great idea, and where do you get the roudybush? Online?

It needs lots of cheese, and ham. Add some pepperdews and put in a pizza oven.
