All my birds love this, from Pixie the conure, grasskeets and finches!

Chopped kale, carrots, chopped baby peas and couscous with AviVita Gold ~ vitamins, mineral and amino acids.

they love it...funny as I serve the birds the birds in the cages I have not gotten to yet seem to be checking out what the others got and some go to the specific door waiting for their soft food dish!

That's hilarious, but now that I think about it, mine do that too, when egg or veggie trays go in. They sit close to the bars looking into the other flights, to see who's getting what today.

I'll have to try your recipe. Any specific amounts of ingredients? Or instructions?

What kind of peas do you get/use? I only have the big ones from the garden..Can you use frozen snow peas?

Thanks

I buy bags of corn, peas, mixed veggies frozen. I usually buy the 1 lb bags and warm them on the stove just enough to thaw as I chop the fresh veggies. The frozen veggies are also run through a few chops in the Ninja chopper to make them small enough, easier for finches to eat.

That looks terrific! How often do you serve this to them?

sometimes daily or every other day...I vary the veggies and sometimes use sprouted seed or mung beans.
