Hello members i have a pair of gouldian finches, the problem is they r not eating boil eggs that have been shredded and mixed mixed with there regular grains can anyone suggest me what to do thank
you

try serving it separately perhaps with some finely peeled grated carrot mixed in.

Or separate with their favorite seeds on top
Sometimes it takes quit a while to get goulds to try new things

Pity you don't have a canary. The easy way would be to put another bird with them that enjoys eggfood. Canaries are absolute guts.

I had this problem too... someone suggested mixing millet in with the egg and it worked. Interestingly all my birds took to shredded greens really well - so I also put the greens right beside the egg/millet mixture on the floor of their cage and that worked too!
