Red or pancium red

I am trying to get red millet as a straight seed for my gouldians
But my local seed merchant is telling me he only has pancium red myon his list
Is this a bigger seed to the one in the red millet sprays, ta

Hi Dave.
Not sure what the difference is.
I buy what's called 'red millet' in packages (not sprays, as we don't have it in sprays here).
It looks basically like this below... only without the white seeds mixed in. I usually add it to my seed mix. Although my guys do eat some of it, I find that they seem to much prefer the regular yellow spray millet on the actual spray ( which I go through like there's o tomorrow).

You do not want the big red millet, very few birds will eat it. The red millet my birds love is small like the picture Elana posted and is in many seed mixes.
