black mix seeds ?

hello friends yesterday i was watch mike fidlers video in youtube in that he was explain about seed mix which is called BLACK MIX and WHITE MIX but i could not findout what r the seeds he mixed in black mix and white mix can anyone guide me on this thank u this is the link to his video www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xdo4XkExes

The Web site fabulous finch used to carry those mixes but I don't believe they are still in business. Last I heard the owner Bill retired.
You can easily just use your regular seed mix as long as it doesn't have those hard pellets in it.

I agree with Debbie, the seed mixes that were sold as black seed and white seed aren't available any longer, in the U.S. at least. The whole idea was that the white mix sprouted at a different rate than the black mix, so by separating them, you could then mix them together after they had all sprouted. You can sprout your regular seed mix, as long as it doesn't include any pellets.

I could be wrong, but I think the black mix is made of niger, black lettuce, white lettuce, and rape seed. Lady gouldian finch online offers a finch and canary tonic blend for breeding, molting, and weaning that has niger, black lettuce, and rape seed in it. I used Herman Brothers Pet Products and bought some white lettuce seed, and then made my own black mix using all of that.
