I was wondering how often should I give two of my zebra finches a boiled egg, they seem to really enjoy it and I am afraid too give them too much boiled egg..
Also from the moment I put a cuttlebone in their cage , how long can it stay in their cage before I need to remove it?

Cuttlebone should be available at all times. When it gets soiled you should either clean or replace it.
Unless you are breeding I would offer hard boiled egg 2 or 3 times a week. When breeding and raising young everyday.

The thing is I am not sure if they mated or not , because I saw for a split second that male was on top of the female flapping his wings around , I am not sure if I saw what I saw or it just looked like it ..
So every second day a hard boiled egg , good enough?

good enough, then when they start to build a nest and frequent it I would add more.
good luck

My non-breeding birds get egg maybe once a week.
If I have juviniles that are in their adult molt (in the community cage), I feed them 3x a week. This is a compromise as I have non-breeding adults in the same community cage.
If I could put the juvs in their own cage, they would get egg daily.
Breeding birds get egg 2x a day, or more. Depending on how much/fast they eat the egg, and if I am home to do mid day feedings.

Too much egg, and not enough space to really fly could result in them getting too fat on the egg. My canary breeder told me to give our canary no more than 2x a week, when not molting, or he will get fat.

Thanks that was very useful I was giving them 1/4 of an egg to each one every 2 days , they have room to fly but the male is already unable to fly , so i was probably just making his job of flying even harder , I kinda thought that the egg will give him the protein and the strength to fly , I will lower the amount of egg I give to him , he doesent even eat that much of the boiled egg , he likes it a lot , as soon as I put it in he starts munching on it but he doesent over do it, i remove the egg after 2 hours ..
