Is that raw potato? I want to serve more of a variety to my birds, like green beans, peas, and potatoes, but I don't have time to cook it. I didn't know if it was save to just cut it up raw and serve it.

Hi All.....
@Babs
I would look at that salad very carefully, before digging in, lol.
@Barbara
My kids have always enjoyed their fruits and vegetables. All it takes is one brave soul, and then they all have to try it.
@slwatson
No raw potatoes Stacie. There's a variety of greens, apples, orange, cucumber, and banana...... plus some yummy meal worms for an added treat.
@Animalzoo
Banana, poisonous? I've never heard of that before. My kids occasionlly enjoy munching on some banana, with no problems whatsoever .
@Sam
Thanks Sam, they always seem to enjoy their Salads.

OMG I have been working my butt off today. I'd pass on the worms but I could wipe out that salad. Your birds eat GOOD!

In your 4th pic you have a bird with a green back and red tail/face with a pink ring. What type of bird is that?

There are several varieties of Parrot Finches (and also some mix ups about the proper names of each species).
All of them are beautiful .
