I boil the eggs, peel the shell off, and allow the shell to dry completely and grind in a coffee grinder I use just for bird foods, I mix the ground shell in with shaved cuttlebone and kelp for gouldians and the other birds get the mix minus the kelp. I do not serve crushed eggshell to my birds especially parents that are feeding young.
