I have accidentaly come accross a page where it says that dracaena is safe for finches ... would they use it as food or something and is it really safe?
Because my mom has a bunch of those plants and it makes me wonder haha xD

It's not palatable, but it's not harmful to chew on. My birds - mostly the parrots - have chewed up my draceanas a bit here and there for fun with no harm. Draceanas can be used in finch aviaries safely.
