ann glam gouldians has a sprouting mix that is really good. They also have a water additive for sprouting, prevents mold from forming.

Nice tropical look!
Love to sit and just observe mine sometimes.
Maybe a cocktail, a few appetizers and some appropriate background music. Fun stuff!
Favorite hobby is continuing to improve on a landscaped, weather protected, 500 sq ft mixed aviary with 23 fascinating species. 30 years in the making; currently have
19 different Finch species, 2 types of Doves, plus 23 Button Quail and 30 pair of clear Red Factor Canaries.

Tiny amount of avi-cleans is often used also a Milton fluid can be used aswell,

It's actually a very very mild weak solution of bleach which is added to the soak seed, the reason for the use of it is so it kills any bacteria that can form in the soak seed,

Many years ago when I first heard about this I onestly thought that users of this must be crazy but it's now been tried and tested for a good number of years to good affect,

The extremely mild dosage is not enough to cause any harm to the birds,

However I must also stress that I personally have not used the solution as I have other ways of feeding soak seed safely :-BD
