I offered my birdies a half strawberry the other day. They looked at it in terror.....I wonder if they thought I had chopped some red headed birdies head off!!

Hahaha! My societies are like that! I put a kale leaf in their cage one time and they clung to the ceiling of the cage for an hour.

Babs & marymac

It's like I always say, it's all about the presentation, lol.

I mean honestly, if someone throws a big rubbery leaf of kale at you, would you eat it? :-O However, if you are offered a nice salad, you would eat it, right? <3

I rest my case

Hahaha, you are so right!!!! Seriously, if I put together a salad, they will pick and taste all of it and decide what they want/need that particular day!

That looks wonderful! I've never given mine oranges before, I'm going to include those tomorrow. Great inspiration!

Well, that does look tasty! I don't have such good luck will all of those foods. I have a gold breasted pr., one male parrot finch and one male cordon bleu. I have thought of adding a society finch to show them how to eat their fruits and vedgies. Kale and meal worms are a hit with all. I am trying to farm the meal worms. I will let you know how that goes. Spozed to be a no brainer. By the looks of some of the videos, it must B. ;) I should keep my mouth shut. I have yet to get a pupa! Do Uall think a society would help?
