Canary seeds not being eaten

Now that my canaries are pretty much done molting, I decided to feed them canary seed/rape seeds. As well as greens, sprouts. But they don't appear to be eating the canary seed. It is in fresh, new condition. Should I avoid feeding them other seeds until they start eating it? They love millet, orchard grass seeds, wild millet, Nyger seeds, perilla seeds. If they refuse to eat canary grass, what seeds should I feed during resting season. I'm thinking that once their options are temporarily limited, they will eat it. What do you think!

Hi, My canary , finches and waxbills are in a flight room together. I feed a finch seed mix in feeders and canary seed in another dish along with pellets, herb salad mix and oyster shells. These are available all year long. If my birds are not nesting, feeding babies or moulting I just feed egg food and fresh fruits and vegetables twice a week.

We all have different ways of doing things but this seems to work for me. :)
