Hi guys and gals
I have strawberry finches, Gouldian finches, owl finches and bengalese finches. My question is does anyone else give their foreign finches Fat Balls.

Fat balls are only appropriate for free-living wild carnivore birds, like woodpeckers, tits and starlings, which need the calories to survive in the winter. Such a diet would make for very unhealthy pet finches, very quickly.

Sheather thanks for the advice. I mix it with uncooked bacon to feed the crows and other wild birds. I also keep any uneaten bird seed to scatter around the graveyard ( 1 street away ) it is a buzz with wild finches, wood pigeons, so on and so forth.
