So this is what I give my birds when they are breeding thought it would be useful as breeding time is round the corner and people can copy some bits or I can learn new info so comment

In the container :
Lettuce
Salad leaves
Sweetcorn(not much nutrition but mine love it )
Mealworms
Oyster shells
Egg mix
Bits of idone block
Millet ( this is just an extra there’s loads around the aviary anyway )

Some bits you probably can’t see because the containers quite deep this one I have three sizes small for a pair in cage medium for couple pairs then large like this for all my aviary ones

I’m giving my birds this now because a few how bred because I liked them inside the aviary but with the heater and they must have got confused and bought the weather was warmer and a few how bred and laid including Pair of Java’s and a mystery female society’s has laid and these chicks are gonna have 7 parents hahahaha

I give my birds Cuttle bone and some other special bird things. One is an oyster shell tonic bell etc. And for greens and fruit my birds eat sweet peas, Apple, silver beet, and chick weed. I also give them sweet corn when we have it and they love that! For seed I get a range of different seeds + Millet and the breeding birds get egg food, which they love.
