I'm thinking about growing some greens for my canaries. What greens are relatively easy to grow in containers?

Lettuce is easy to grow in containers, just make sure that they are in a mild temp so that they will grow for you and some good sun light. I grow lettuce for my birds and have enjoyed learning how to grow other greens for your birds. If you do grow greens for your birds you need to make sure that you are not using any fertilizers that could harm your birds.

You can sprout and grow some of your seed mix, my birds love it.

lovezebs is right, as long as your mix doesn't have pellets in it.
