Higgins changed their packaging, and also the egg food. The Java don't eat it anymore. What do your birds like in store bought dried egg food? Thank you in advance for any replies.

Hi, I've never bought a brand -I just buy the cheap egg food. I guess you could just try a dif kind and see if they like it? Hopefully someone else on here is more knowledgeable than me!!

Abba Seed in New Jersey makes one. It seems like a lot of breeders use theirs.

I used their Green 92, and they ate it. For quite a few years now I've just made my own. Not even egg food, just chopped up boiled egg.

Quiko makes several egg foods that are readily available online. I happen to like Volkman Gourmet egg food, but I don't feed it by itself, I add it to my own homemade egg food to dry it out some.

I use the Cede canary for my finches and budgies. I have tried both the canary and the finch and my finches prefer the canary. They don't like the little black seeds in the finch version. The canary version seems to be just plain egg food.
