My guess is that shipping will kill you if buying on line.

Check one of the 'weed and feed' or farm supply stores.
I get seeds from a place aptly called the feed barn that sells sells seed from finch mix, canary mix through cockatiel to large parrot mixes and on to chickens and horses. They sell a lot so it seems fresh. Hard to beat at just under a dollar a pound.

I've not been able to find what I need here (central Kentucky, USA) so I buy online from Herman Brothers. Seed + freight is about the same as buying local, and they actually have the seeds that I'm looking for.

Check out the bulk bins at local grocery stores of health food stores. I get a lot of seed that way, including hulled millet, flax, sesame, hulled hemp, chia, oat groats, flaked grains, coconut flakes. Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Just be sure to get whatever you get with no sugar, salt, or preservatives.
