Dandelion Greens

Post by Weavers.com » Sun Nov 02, 2008 2:11 pm

are dandelion greens nutritous for breeding finches? I have read that spinach is bad for breeding birds because it binds calcium in a hens body. Is it the same thing with dandelion greens?

Dandelion Greens are an great source of Calcium and Vitamin A. So go ahead and feed them all they want! My finches love the dandelions! :D

I happened to rub my eyes while chopping them up...within 5 minutes I was totally blind...a passing window cleaner spotted me staggering about and phoned ambulance....
Doc. at the eye hospital said it was toxic sap and I should have washed my hands before rubbing my eyes....I said..."I KNOW NOW!!!!!"

Nasty stuff.....
