are dandelion greens nutritous for breeding finches? I have read that spinach is bad for breeding birds because it binds calcium in a hens body. Is it the same thing with dandelion greens?

Watch that white fluid in the dandelion stems...got some in my eyes earlier in the year...finished up in casualty and the eye hospital.

I happened to rub my eyes while chopping them up...within 5 minutes I was totally blind...a passing window cleaner spotted me staggering about and phoned ambulance....
Doc. at the eye hospital said it was toxic sap and I should have washed my hands before rubbing my eyes....I said...
"I KNOW NOW!!!!!"
Nasty stuff.....
