what i'm asking is there anything in there that would be harmful to finches even in breeding season?

I've used it a year ago or so and the Finches LOVED it. Thanks for reminding me - may offer it again as a treat. I only did a little at a time though - no where near a cup. I only give them about a tablespoon per day per cage. It's not a staple diet but it sure was a treat for them.

We have picked it up a couple of times and use it to offer something they normally do not get, and they really like it.

all the ingredients sound great. Especially for birds that don't like to eat their veggies. (I won't mention any names) lol! Will have to look out for it.

On another note, my Societies went crazy for some greens I gave them today. These birds are very easy to please. :)

I tried it one time and my finches didn't touch it--wound up throwing it all out. Isn't it funny how some finches will eat something, and others act like it is poison? They all have their individual likes and dislikes, I guess.
