I have increased the amount of meal worms I am feeding my BCCB's just to see if I can get them ... in the mood... so to speak. They both do the dance and I have seen them in the nest a few short times.
My friend found freeze dried meal worms. Do you think these are good? Would be much easier than live ones. Are the live ones just better?

I tried the freeze dried meal worms and mine CB didn't want them at all.
I feed a lot of mealworms my gouldians ,CB,parrot finch all seem to like the live best, I order mine once a month, when they have chicks they can eat a whole lot of them[lot cheaper to buy on line]
There are some that use the freeze dried I think

My GBs didn't care for dried mealworms, but they do like the canned ones! They come out of the can still juicy and look so alive... You can get them at Fairest Finches. And you can always add them to the eggfood if they aren't interested at first.
