How often can I feed salad?

My societies are feeding babies right now, and the parents love fresh food. In fact, Calypso leaves the nest when she hears the sound of produce bags. She then follows me around the room, and watches as I prepare the food for her. It's comedy. I usually prepare combos of kale, spinach, brocolli, romaine, cauliflower and carrot. They also get eggfood and little sprinkles of cheese. I looked on finch info, and it said to not OD on things like spincah etc. because it could make them sick. But these are their favorites, and I feel like they should have plenty to keep the parents nourished, plus they will pass it on to the babies. They watch for the salad every morning. Am I okay to give it to them? Are there any other fresh foods that would be extra good for them because of the babies? Maybe something that could even be beneficial for the babies? What do you think?

I think fresh veggies are wonderful for the birds, but I don't do spinach very often, certainly not more often than once per week. Collard greens are supposed to be good for them, too. The mixture that you are doing, less the spinach on a daily basis, sounds great to me.

Thank you Sally for the response. I will stop doing the spinach as often, but they were getting only tiny amounts though. Most of the spinach is added to the organic spring mix I feed my bunny. I am going to pick up the collard greens today along with the usual freshy food. I have been alternating the eggfood and the salads on a daily basis. Should I switch that up? Can they have both daily? Calypso especailly would be happy to get her salad every day. Anything else in particular that you feed your birds that you can suggest?
