ive heard of guys feeding bloodworms to waxbills for breeding purposes, but i always asumed they were fresh, live ones, i never thought in a million years to try using FD bloodworms! must try it sometime as i sometimes get them for my siamese fighters

But they love the dried ones. Even my society finch loves them. Guess the fact that they look more like worms when dry helps.

Yep! Everyone eats them. Plus I give them Daphnia, Spirulina Brine Shrimp and Krill, also. My birds eat better than I do...

It says they are bathed in a gel, I wonder if this would make them mushy for the birds.

John try the Hikari dried bloodworms, they have minerals and vitamins in them. They look like little worms and my birds love them. You can also get the freeze dried mealworms and grind those for their egg food. My Red head eat the bloodworms. I sprinkle them on top of the dried eggfood.
