I have found corn bread muffin mix in Canada.....at Loblaws...PC organics but no cornbread....I used the recipe and it works just dandy...I live in Ottawa...and my birdies are in heaven......So anyone in Canada try Loblaws for sure......

Hi Giraffe - I split this into it's own thread as we Canadians would love to be able to find this type of information. Thank you so much for posting where you found some equivalent Jiffy Cornbread Mix in Canada. Would you by chance be able to post a pic of the package?

Liz, how out of the way is Wiarton (south bruce just north of the sound). I fly in/out of wiarton a few times a year but am car-less since we fly up in a little 6 seater.

Wiarton is not that far from me, although I wouldn't drive there in the winter due to it being in an extreme snowbelt area, I can drive it (according to Google) in just over 2 hours:

In the late spring, summer or early fall I'd love to drive up there just to say HI and meet you! No need to bring any Jiffy Mix since I can get an equivalent locally now. But I'd really like to come up and meet you someday! Can you take a finch or two back with you?
