Question...I noticed on the internet not everyone uses milk in the birdie bread. I decided to pass time waiting for Domenic's egg to hatch to make muffins for the finches!

I took

1 box of Jiffy cornbread
1 egg
ground pellets
a single serving of organic apple sauce
a little better than a 1/3 of a cup of organic pumpkin puree

Do you think this will work without the milk?

I'll bake it up and see how it is, if it works then I'll sprinkle with Hatched eggshells and serve.

I used apple juice instead of milk and worked fine just don't get it to runny

Thanks Bill, I did bake a dozen mini mufins up and just gave them to the finches and my lovebird. The owls are having a discussion as to whether to eat it or not.

The owls like it as does the lovebird. The shaftail young are investigating it as are the RCCBs.

My lovebird finished it off, completely, then played with the bowl. The owls picked at it. I made a batch so I froze it, If Lucy likes it so much I'll just save it for her.
