hi sally
i struck lucky today and found out someone was selling quail so i bought a normal male c p q and as soon as he got in the aviary he was calling to the female and 4 hours later there is no blood spilt so assume she has taken to him he is a beauty the male i had before was a silver mutation but this one is a normal which i do prefer

sont worry handes thats usually the case with quail they get used to one partner or being on there own and when a new one shows up they like to show them who is the boss!
