hello,
I have a male gouldian approximately 2 years old that has the following symptoms -
opens mouth like something in his throat
rubs beak on perch
stretches neck
slight, slight clicking noise
I treated him (and his mate) with scatt a few weeks ago because I heard some slight clicking. However, the past few days he's been sleeping quite a bit, which is uncharacteristic for him.
He seems to be eating and drinking fine, is not fluffed up and does make his rounds around the cage - just not as much.
Any ideas and/or treatment suggestions?
thanks,
mike

You should try treating him again, b/c that sounds like air sac mites..

I agree with Emily - you can treat a second time with Scatt (I think after 21 days?). If it's mites, that would take care of it.
