I agree with Deborah, he just may need a bit of time. If he has a soft tissue injury then heat , rest and TLC will help. Hope he continues to improve.

when I had a Society that wasn't feeling very well I kept it in the hosp. cage for 2 weeks just to make sure he was well and it wasn't anything contagious. He might need more time to get his strength up. I know it's hard not to put him back with the others but he probably needs more time. Keep us posted and I hope it's good news soon.

hello to everyone - i wanted to pop in here to say that i think my little julian is about 99%, if not 100% better. he went back with the rest of the birds over the weekend and is now even hanging out with his mate again, although that took a day or two.
THANK YOU so much to everyone that responded and offered suggestions or just friendly support - this forum is a wonderful place for novice bird lovers such as myself. i always get great suggestions with none of the ego that one might find other places.

again, THANKS!

robin & julian (and friends)

Wonderful!!! Congratulations on nursing him back to health! It's not easy to bring back the fragile little birds when they're ill! Great job! =D> =D> Standing O for you!
