Beak problem

Post by lyderbug » Sat Feb 16, 2008 3:36 pm

Hey everyone...Cricket(6month old Society finch)..it looks like she has a minor cross bite/beak at the very end of her beak. I have stuff for them to file their beaks down with but hers is still crossing a bit in the front....

Do I trim it myself and if so...how?

Or do I take her to the vet to do it

I'm a little nervous to do it myself

It's not bad at all..will it take care of itself?

Lyderbug....you might want to check out these links I had posted when I need advice about trimming my female gouldian's beak. I posted a before and after pic in the second link. I was so scared and my hands were shaking and sweating but I did it while Hubby held the bird

If I can do it....YOU can too! :D
