Not sure where to post this question so here goes....
I have a propane stove in the living room and have not used it since last spring. I am concerned about using it to supplement my electric furnace. Do any of you use propane and if so do you suffer any problems with your birds?

Re: Heating fuels and birds???
Thanks It is a new stove and I have never had any problems with it just curious about how it might affect the birds. I never smell any gas and only use it on really cold days or at night for a bit.
Thanks Again

We also have a supplemental heater and I did not have any problems last winter. I would suggest, however, to make sure you have a working carbon monoxide detector in the room with the heater, for your safety and your birds'.
