heat lamp with sick finch

If you have a sick bird do you leave a heat lamp on all night for it or should you turn it off?

you leave it on...if the bird is sick heat is crucial.

Give the bird electrolytes for a few days.It must be kept warm at a constant around 86F until the bird gets better

Heres my hopital box I made it has 2 globes at the base with a metal tray that slides in over the top of them,the heat radiates upwards it has a electronic temperature control fitted.
