Can you post a picture of the fledgling? I would take it out to check its wing and make sure nothing else is injured. If the wing is damaged, you can make a splint with a popsicle stick and paper medical tape. You can also make a little flat type of nesting area on the ground so the chick will be comfortable and the parents can come down to feed the baby. It may just have a muscle injury or is not strong enough to get up any higher yet. Sometimes, they fledge a little too early and are not ready to fly. Keep an eye on the baby and see if putting some nesting material on the ground, in a corner, near the other nest helps. Good Luck.
