Glad your little oe is doing better!! Can you put a plastic small cat pan or plastic container (high sides) with soft bedding like Cozy Clean or Cozy Comfort in it under the nest....so at least if this happens again where the babies fall out of the nest it can buy you some time to get to the babies before the BQ do. I would use a large covered canary nest or box nest time.
