Thank you! :) I'm trying!

Dr. called me back, said to go ahead and give him Baytril for an extra 4 days. I'm sure he'll be much better looking by then, as well. His toes look better and better every day.

Going to add some pictures from Facebook down below to show you how his leg is doing, and you can see Mila's brother (or so I refer to them as), Kaz, too! :') Mila, the one that had the leg infection, is the fawn pied (cream white and blonde). No more red leg, but the vein is still slightly showing. As kenny66 mention, it's likely the vein finishing off it's remaining healing. Great job on getting better, Mila!! Thanks all of you for your support!

He looks bright-eyed and alert, not ill at all. Good job! =D>

Congratulations on such a great job taking care of that leg. I love Mila's coloring, such a pretty bird. Do they play with any of those toys?

I'm so relieved - he's made such great progress. No more redness and no more tucking!

@Bluebonnet Thank you for the wonderful compliment! And yes, they actually do play with the toys! Kaz, (chocolate self), is definitely my toy loving boy. I've never seen finch interact with toys the way he does. He'll sit in front of the mirrors and court them, swing on a toy ladder for several minutes, ring bells by pecking at them, etc. Mila is a bit partial to them, but every once in a while he'll jump on one or peck at them with his beak.
