White beaks on new baby zebras

Post by Fishguy2727 » Thu Jun 12, 2008 10:25 am

Two of the three baby zebras have white beaks. All the other babies I have seen have had black beaks that later faded to the normal orange. Is something wrong with these guys or is it just the color morph (mother is mostly white).

The two in question are both white and fawn. The third is smaller and less developed and mostly black (from what I can see).
