Fixing Lower Mandible Growth?
I noticed one of the owl finches chewing seed awkwardly the other day. I caught her to get a closer look at what was going on and her lower mandible seems to have a slight curve in....almost like a gravy boat. Was hoping this would be something easy to correct, but trimming is difficult as it would involve keeping her mouth open and being very careful. Can anyone recommend a way to correct this? I am thinking a file? We've provided her with a cuttlebone, cement perch and a stone, but I'm not sure if that will actually help correct the curve inwards.

I am really not sure.. Sorry I cannot help but I am sure somebody can. I hope it fixes itself. I would give her ltos of soft food for now.
