Different stages of moult

Post by skyjump100 » Sun Jan 27, 2013 10:23 am

Here are three of my juveniles, all from the same clutch but all moulting at different times.
The blue female at the back has a few pin feathers but looks really messy right now. The red head male in the middle is covered in pin feathers and is moulting well however his brother has stopped half way and showing no signs of continuing.

The RH looks like hes pretty much almost done!
The BH BB appears that shes about halfway. But good sign shes got the pins.

The other one...looks like hes stuck in a moult. But hopefully by spring time he will get going too.

Just keep feeding lots of egg food, they will get there :)
