Dirty bottomed Zebras

Post by Jeff McKee » Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:57 pm

I've had one zebra hen, that forever, has been a dirty bottomed bird.

Recently, my oldest zebra hen became the same.

These birds have their own cages.

Feathers seem to be plucked. Dirty and messy.

Egg food daily. Seed. Greens weekly - typically spinach and cucumber. Boiled egg a couple times a month.

Any suggestions as to what is going on?

Thanks.
Jeff

One of my society finches has an occasional dirty bum, but a daily bath usually does the trick (thank goodness) .
