Archie and Veronica are doing great!
Veronica has most of her feathers back, and is active and healthy.
I have them in a large breeding cage. Lots of preening, feeding each other, but no nesting yet. Archie has been redecorating the nests.

Thanks for asking. :-)

Oh thank goodness! I was wondering about her too. =)

That's really great to hear! SHe looked very woe-be-gone on the previous page! What a sweetie!!!

With your earlier question, yes some mules can be fertile. Apparently male mules (canary/siskin) were used to cross back the reddish color for canaries originally.

Here is a better photo of the now fully recovered Veronica. I put an LED fish tank light over the cage, and it "activated" them. :-)
Lots of preening and feeding each other, bathing, eating and both of them checking out the 2 different types of nests in there.
They are adorable. Archie has been singing more than the 2 canaries!
