May I ask, how long did your birds take to show improvement?

Olive25 - There's typically noticeable improvement within 48 hours, though in cases where they're super sick and were on a steady decline, you may see a halt in deterioration before you see actual improvement.
If it's been a couple days and you haven't seen anything noticeable, it may be that he's not getting enough. Typical if they're not eating/drinking.

Just wanted to post an update on my little canary Brownie. He pulled through and is doing great! I was really worried he wasn't going to make it, he's back to his hold cheerful and healthy self. I'm very happy to report that the amoxitex did work really well on him. I gave him a 10 day course (in his water). I'm now giving him a probiotic just to make sure all is well after the antibiotics.

I'm sooo happy for you! I am glad members here make suggestions was helpful to you. Yay! Your bird is doing well and healthy again, I'm proud of you didn't give up and tried your best at least. I know the Amoxitex will works for the bird, just takes sometime for it to be fully effective or improvement. You did a good job too!
