Hello everybody.
First of all sorry for my English:)

I observed couple weeks ago that my male gouldian was picking on feather behind his head.
Got a chance to catch him today and saw this yellowish little "things" on his skin.

He is 1 of my 4 gouldians in avary and the one who mostly napping on perches and looks ill to me lately.
here is pic,please help id what is it.

Could it be seed in the crop?
FYI looks like nail trims are needed especially the Blue

thanks for response....looks like they store seeds prior to digestion, right?

I'll trim nails to all of them tomorrow:)

Those yellow things, are the seeds in his crop.

Your birds look like they're molting , which is normal.
During this time, they need good quality finch seeds, hard boiled eggs (plus the shells ), and a nice variety of greens.

Oh so that was normal?
I thought my finch had a feather cyst but it was gone after one day , i saw his chest bulged up and underneath his feathers i saw the same thing that kurens has on his , I guess its nothing to be worried about unless it stays like that , then I think that it is a cyst...
Pretty birdy's by the way :D
