Yes, it is hard :( The male is still doing very well. I will have to save some money in order to replace his female. Poor giy:( these little birds are amazing, but so delicate.

I bought another pair of twinspots! so the male has another female and I really hope they breed. I am going to fix them a nice big cage to make it more possible. I do have a male twinspot all by himself. I hope to buy him a mate soon. Let us see how round 2 goes. I know they are extremely difficult (according to some) to breed, but I do enjoy a challenge
